Report Description

The LexisNexis® Small Business Credit Reports present a concise picture of a legal, non-human entity. The reports are comprised from billions public and proprietary records analyzed, filtered and linked through our proprietary algorithms. These records are melded with SBFE data™ to provide financial performance data. For consistency, we tend to refer to these entities as businesses, but this service contains any kind of legal entity that is not a consumer.

Business Summary

The business summary contains an overview of the report subjects. This section appears at the top of each page. It contains the best contact information, and a summary of the subjects identifying information.

The best contact information we have pertaining to the business and input Authorized Representative is at the very top of the report. This includes the subjects name, address, LexID®/LexID® Business Legal Entity number, and for the business where available: telephone, date established and TIN.   Best information is typically the most current and/or most complete information we have.

This line displays matching company names and addresses based on the input search terms.

Scores

This section can contain 2 scores. If an Authorized representative is provided on input then LexisNexis® Small Business Blended Credit Score with SBFE Data model is provided. The LexisNexis® Small Business Credit Score with SBFE Data model is provided in all reports.

Both score models were developed to help predict and identify accounts that may charge-off, become 91 or more days past due, or become bankrupt in the next 18 months.

Both scores are three-digits, ranging from 501 (highest credit risk) to 900 (lowest credit risk).

A score exception is returned in the following scenario:
